having high standards.

SOO, i was reading this book called When God Writes Your Love Story by Eric and Leslie Ludy.

In the book, Leslie tells us that she had high standards when she was a teenager. Her friend asked her "What do want in a guy?" and she answers "Someone who treats me like a princess, someone who is sensitive, tender, gentle, brave, full of integrity, servant hearted, and honorable." Then her friend replies "Think of all of those qualities you mentioned. Who is the perfect example of all of those qualities?" Leslie answers, "uhh.. Superman?" and Her friend says, "No. Jesus Christ."

duuude maan, when i read that part I said outloud, "WOAH. THAT IS SO TRUE!"

Her friend continues saying that God is the one who came up with those longings into her heart. the person that God wanted for her, is someone who has the characteristics of Jesus Christ! Someone who is like Jesus Christ!


So a girl (or boy) having high standards isn't bad because the person that they want is someone just like Jesus Christ.

For me, now I've learned. I want someone who is just like Jesus Christ! Someone who will serve the Lord until God brings them home. Someone who will always lead me towards Christ.
