convicted

The most uncomfortable thing you could ever feel.

If you are convicted with God's word, it feels uncomfortable but it also makes you happy (well, it makes me happy). How can conviction make me happy? Well first, you are told of your faults. That is what makes you uncomfortable. You are a sinner. I am a sinner. We are all sinners. Lets get that straight. "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23. BUT, with God convicting my heart I know that God loves me. I know that God is bringing me closer to Him. I know that God is changing my heart more and more so that I can become the woman that He wants me to be.

Things really don't just end at you are a sinner. We are given hope. Christ gave us hope when He layed down His life for our sake so that we may be made blameless in the eyes of God. He took our sins, placed them on His shoulders, and bore the wrath of God that was rightfully ours.

"..being justified by His grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life." Titus 3:7

We can obtain that hope of eternal life by just repenting from our sins and believing in Jesus Christ.

You can't make a decision tomorrow or the next day. Its either now, or you never will.
Are you going to let in your heart the One who gave up His life for your sake?

Even writing this, I was convicted. And I praise God that He convicted my heart.
I praise God that He changed me and that He will continue to change me.
