"Grace of God will not protect you' Something good will happen to you today; something that you have been waiting to hear. Please do not break! Just 27 words. God our Father, walk through my house and take away all my worries and illnesses; and please watch over and heal my family in Jesus' name. Amen This prayer is so powerful. Pass this prayer to 12 people including me. A blessing is coming to you in form of a new job, a house, marriage or financially. Do not break or ask questions. This is a test. Does God come first in your life? If so, stop what your doing send to 12 people NOW. WHAT WHAT HE DOES."
read it? Doesn't it sound kinda iffy? eeh ):
yeah, I got that in a form of THREE TEXT. I don't have unlimited and I don't pay the bills. oh man, I'm in trouble.
One thing I do not like about chain letters: its more talk than walk. (I may be wrong if you do walk the walk, but most people I see that put these chain letters don't walk the walk) I see so many of these and the same verse pops out of my mind all the time. But be doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. (James 1:22) We can't just talk and say these things. God doesn't want to just hear talk talk talk talk. He wants to see it. It may be cliche to say this, but actions do speak more than words. When we just talk the talk and don't walk the walk, thats hypocrasy.
This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. Matt. 15:8
God looks at the heart, at our motives..
Second thing: I see a bit of prosperity gospel in this.. "A blessing is coming to you in form of a new job, a house, marriage or financially." I watched this one video one time...
God is most glorified in you when you are more satisfied in Him in the midst of lost, not prosperity.
It hurts to be sent this message. I just pray that God may open our eyes and our hearts to His word so that we may be satisfied in Him and not counterfeit gospels that fit our own fleshly desires.
Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way of everlasting! Psalms 139:23-24
P.S. the grammar bothered me too... LOL
