encouragement #3

Never theless, I am continually with you;

you hold my right hand.

You guide me with your counsel,

and afterward you will receive me to glory.

Whom have I in heaven but you?

And there is nothing on earth that I desire

besides you.

My flesh and my heart may fail,

but God is the strength of my heart and my

portion forever.

- Psalms 73:23-26

Isn't it great to know that though we may fail and become weak,

God will be our strength and will remain ours forever?

Look how it is said in the New Living Translation:
My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak,

but God remains the strenth of my heart;

he is mine forever.

Amazing!

This was my devotion before leaving to go to school. I was amazed by it and humbled, knowing that while I am weak (i'm sick... so i do feel weak...), God will be my strength. Praise be to God!
