we are His "doulos" and He is our "kurios"

Just so we would know that God isn't a genie in a bottle. God is our Master once we come to Christ and give Him our lives.

Matthew 16:24 - "..if anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, take up his cross and follow Me."

We are His slaves and He is our Master/Lord.

1 Corinthians 7:22-23 - "For he who was called in the Lord as a slave is a freedman of the Lord. Likewise he who was free when called is a slave of Christ. You were bought with a price; do not become slaves of men."
