feeling worried? PRAY! (:

If a problem isn't worth praying about, it isn't worth worrying about.

James 5:13-16
13 Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise. 14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. 16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.

its asking..
Is any of you in trouble?

its telling you...
to pray.

because...
The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.

Amen?

Today was full of worry. WELL, for me it was. I had to go to the doctor's to get a check up, because my mom was really worried. And to tell you, I was pretty worried myself. Like seriously worried. But you know what, before going to the doctors.. Maybe at around 2:30ish? I picked up my bible and turned to these verses. Reading God's word always gives me hope. Having faith in God always gives me hope. So, after reading these verses, I prayed. I asked God to be with me and to always take care of me. Also to have His will be done in my life. His will is better to be done than have what I want to be done. After reading God's true words and praying to Him, I felt much better. My worry was gone, all my stress was gone and I was able to continue doing my homework peacefully.

You know, sometimes we think that we can all do everything ourselves. Even I think that. But you know, we really can't do everything ourselves. Doing everything ourselves would be seriously HARD! But we can do all things in Christ who strengthens me. (philippians 4:13) Then if you continue reading on.. Paul tells us in verse 19.. "And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Meaning, God will only supply the things we need if it will glorify God as an outcome.

Everything you have, its all blessing from God. Everything I have is a blessing from God. Especially my family and friends.

Remember brothers and sisters in Christ, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all for the glory of God! (1 Cor. 10:31)

May the glory be to God always!

All for Him!,
Jeremae
