Hey everyone! Yesterday I just got back from Regen! It was such a blessing to learn more about God through Esther and seeing those I met last year and meeting new people! Praise God, seriously. All around you, you just see children of God who are about my age and generation just praising God through the music and the message and the tracks. Seeing those who weren't saved, asking God to be their Lord and Savior was so touching. Its like finding a lost brother or sister and that they are coming back home! Its just amazing.
Main Sessions--- We studied on the book of Esther and how God is always at work and His sovereignty. I was very challenged at the fact that Esther had faith and had the courage to even say "If I perish, I perish!". I was challenged to always trust in God during trials and that He is always working through those trials to change us and to help us grow in faith.
Praise and Worship--- was amazing. All around you, you see teenagers just lifting up their hands and singing to the King of kings and Lord of lords.
Tracks/Break-out sessions--- was very helpful. I had behind the music (with Kuya Matt Amargo), The Call (with Pastor Ed Dacio), and So you think you can lead (with Kuya/Pastor Jay Catanus). Behind the Music with Kuya Matt was pretty cool. We learned about how praise and worship should always be from the heart, what it requires, and how it should be done. The Call with Pastor Ed was about how to find God's will for you. And So you think you can lead was mainly about pastors, elders and deacons in the church.
Small group--- I'm doing this last because I was truly blessed by these people. Ate Jessica, Ate Stephanie, Kelly, Hannah, and Nikki. Very VERY blessed by them. I just met most of them, but it was like I've been knowing them for a LONG time. It was like I could open up to them and trust them and know that they will give me biblical advice. It was amazing, and we clicked very fast. We were never quiet. Someone was always talking! We built a strong relationship and I pray to God that that strong relationship will never break because of time between Regen 2010 and Regen 2011. I love them very much! <3
Sigh, I miss Regen 2010. It should be longer. LOL, I say that to every conference, retreat, camp i go to. Just learning about God and fellowshipping with brothers and sisters who love God without distractions is just AMAZING! But then again, they are here to equip us for the real world. To let us know that we are all fighting the same fight in this world full of sin. I'm praying for all who went to Regen that we wouldn't leave Regen 2010 as the same person as when we started Regen 2010.
Next up, youth camp 2010! Lets see what God also has in store for those who are going!
Praise and glory be to God!
Oh dear Jeremae!!! I can relate to what you shared! I'm so glad that you had a BLAST at the Regeneration Conference and you are able to come back sharing what God is really doing in your life! You're not just one to talk the talk, but you actually back up what you share and learn through your actions. I'm so happy to hear that you even made new friends who strengthened your faith. I'm VERY sure that you were able to strengthen their faith too just by being present with them because that's the kind of person that you are!
